AHI COMPANY is an all formats audiovisual production company, founded in January 2018 by Maruia RICHMOND, Teiva DRION and Virginie TETOOFA. All of them have an expertise in film making for over a decade. AHI COMPANY is  a video clip, short-film, advertising, institutional video, documentary, feature film company. AHI COMPANY is also co-producting, coordinating French and foreign productions.


Maruia RICHMOND 

Producer/ 1st AD/ Production Manager

Maruia is a production manager based in French Polynesia.  After her studies in Communication and Humans Resources, she embarked on the audiovisual industry with Teiva and Virginie. With a lot of film sets experiences, and always on set, she has forged an excellent reputation as a production assistant, a coordinator and set manager, especially on the latest "Point Break 2", "Gauguin", "Batman versus Superman", and many reality TV shows filmed in French Polynesia. Since the creation of AHI COMPANY, Maruia has diversified her position as production manager, 1st AD and even director. 


Virginie TETOOFA

Producer/ DOP/ Writer/ Director


With knowledge in short formats, both in writing and production, Virginie brings her cinematographic expertise to the development of ambitious projects for local, national and international television. Virginie is a director, DOP, producer, film editor.

She has a communication Bachelor degree from ISEPP. She continued her training at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, where she obtained a Bachelor degree in Film and TV with a specialization in Directing. She traveled across Europe to perfect her experience.

Back in French Polynesia, she directed many short films including the famous and awarded "E Arioi Vahine" (world premiere in Palm Springs then in Montreal, award for best editing at the Sydney Flickerfest) as well as many video clips for Vaiteani and Pepena.

One of her latest video clip "Fa'afa'ite by Pepena" was a great success on youtube with more than 600,000 views and featured on television multiple times.

She recently directed the TV series "Pari Pari Fenua" broadcasted on Polynesie La 1ère, a hybrid magazine of 13 minutes. Each episode is according to her: "a magazine halfway between roots and modernity".

Virginie considers Polynesian culture to be a living culture in constant evolution. A millenary and oral culture that we must reclaim. Her films are a glimpse at Polynesian culture.


Teiva DRION 

Grip/ Camera/ Camera assistant/ DIT

Trained as a GRIP Manager, Teiva became a DIT, Camera Assistant and a Cameraman over the years. 

His past professional experiences in cinema are "Point Break 2", "Batman vs Superman", "Gauguin", "Order and morality", "Couples retreat". These experiences have allowed him to diversify, to be reactive, but especially effective in the solutions to be provided. He also worked on several reality TVs like "Tahiti Quest" in the camera department, "The Island of Temptation", "Dating naked" as a gaffer GRIP. Teiva is multitasking and has started directing as well.
